Evolve the Arts! Marketplace (California artists only).
Local arts organization is seeking California artists to participate micro art exhibits in public and private spaces to enhance direct and frequent contact between fine artists and the public in Sacramento. Artists must be in attendance during the events. All works must be for sale. Artist receives 95% commission of sold works. Multiple show dates (weekdays and weekends) available starting February 2012. $20 Entry fee. All submissions reviewed by Jury Panel of Artists. All submissions must include: artist statement and CV, at least (3) three .JPEG’s with a minimum of 300 dpi resolution, title, medium, and year of creation. For 2D or 3D works - need at least two angles. A link to your website is acceptable but must include artist statement. All images must be labeled with artist’s name, title of work. Please do not imbed the artist’s name or object title on the image. When you save the file, provide the following file name: your last name, title of object.

General Portfolio Submissions:
Evolve the gallery features artists who possess unique talents and abilities to conjure emotions, arouse feelings, explore sensitive issues and make powerful statements with their creative works. We are currently accepting submissions from artists around the world, at all stages in their art careers for consideration.
- Please review our website to determine if your work might be of interest to the gallery.
- We do not accept walk-in appointments to review your work.
- Due to the amount of materials we receive we are unable to respond to each submission - please do not call.
After viewing our gallery, if you believe your work is appropriate for submission, we request that you send us samples in the following format only:
- Website address (must include CV and artist statement) or
- No more than 3 samples sent as email attachments as JPG or GIF (must include CV and artist statement)
- Attachments should not exceed 1.5mb total (Images exceeding 1.5 mb will not be reviewed.)
After evaluating your work, if appropriate, we will contact you for a formal portfolio presentation.
RESPONSE TIME can be anywhere from immediate to several weeks, but we will make every effort to get back to you as soon as possible. Please wait at least 30 days before contacting us for a response (if the proposal is time-sensitive, then please indicate this in your cover letter). Please do not send original photographs or documents of any kind.
